I am Ms. SONIA GIDLA based from Kolkata, West Bengal currently working as a Principal and English teacher ( higher secondary) at Douglas Memorial Higher Secondary School, Kolkata.

I am also the Regional Executive Member of Association of Schools for the Indian School Certificate ( ASISC) for WB & NE.

Additionally, I am the Convener of the ISC level of the Barrackpore Zone.

I have been a keynote speaker at ASISC Conference,2018 ( Association of schools for the Indian School Certificate) and my address was on Educational Leadership.

I also have the experience of a Centre Superintendent for the CTET exam.

I was given the opportunity to present my Research paper on Education Insight at the ASISC National Conference 2018.

My article on ECONOMIC INDEPENDENCE & EMPOWERMENT was published in the IPN (Indian Principals’ Network) December 2021 issue.

Corona and Childhood was yet another article by me which was published in Mentor LXL.

I have been a panelist at many webinars and conferences which has discussed the following: NEP 2020, New age Career Choices and  Mental Health.

I also conducted Podcast sessions through my Talk show “ TALK THE TALK” with eminent personalities like Bhaichung Bhutia and Mr. Nabarun De, Ms. Hilda Peacock, Ms. Saloni Priya just to name a few.

I have received the IPN award “ The most Impactful Leader” 2022. I have also been awarded the Education Excellence Award organized by United Mentors Association.

I also write poetry and quotations about Life, Love and Nature and have a Facebook page “ REFLECTIONS” dedicated to it.

Additionally, I am also the lead vocalist & songwriter of the Gospel Band “DISCIPLES OF CHRIST”.
