Mrs. Sanghamitra Ghosh holds a master’s degree in Botany and Bachelor’s in Education. She had joined Abbot Shishu Hall as an Assistant Teacher in the year 1994 and has been recruited as the Principal in 2009. Since then she has relentlessly strived for the betterment of the school. Under her able guidance, the school has received permanent affiliation and upgraded to the ISC level. The school has now reached new horizon. She also runs a Knowledge Centre for the underprivileged and dropout students – an initiative to bring them back in the main stream. Besides this, she also runs a study center of NIOS since 2009 and had examination center till 2019.

She has been awarded for outstanding contribution in education by Mr. Sourav Ganguly. She has also been awarded for Enriching literacy and numeracy. She is a passionate educator.
