Green Day and a special commemoration! 🌳🌱🎶🎻🎙🎶🍀🌴

This year ASISC WB & NE States celebrated Green Day on December 20th, a special occasion that holds great significance as we commemorated the life and contributions of Sri Nabarun De on his 59th Birth Anniversary. Born on December 20, 1964, Mr. De, Principal, Central Modern School, had been an executive member of the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISE) since 2011 and had also held the post of the National Joint Secretary of the Association Of Schools for the ISC (ASISC).

The programme started with the school prayer song and a short introduction of Nabarun De. The first performance was a welcome song performed by students, which was followed by a Sarod recital. This was followed by a violin recital and the recitation of a poem, thereafter. The students' performance concluded with a dance to the 'Earth Song'. Finally came the much awaited 'planting saplings' ceremony headed by Mr. Ranjan Mitter, Principal, The Future Foundation School.
