Proma Das has been an educationist for the past three decades and is the founder Principal of Calcutta Public School, Kalikapur which was established in 1994. She has served the ASISC West Bengal Chapter in the Executive Committee since 2002. Mrs. Das has been a member of the Literary Committee of ASISC WB Chapter for several years and has hosted multiple events at Calcutta Public School, Kalikapur over the years. As a student, she was always academically inclined, being a six pointer in ICSE from Loreto, a national scholar in higher secondary and a graduate of the reputable Lady Brabourne College. She then went on to pursue a double masters, completing her M.Sc. in Zoology and M.A. in Sociology along with a B.Ed.
