Mrs. Sapru holds a Master's Degree in Chemistry and in Education and a Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership Management. She has attended a residential programme at IIM Ahmedabad on Strategic Leadership Management. She has completed an online Certificate Course in Multiple Intelligence Theory Programme from Harvard University, USA, and Global Career Counsellor Certification from the University of California, Los Angeles.

She joined the Heritage School in 2007. She is a master trainer for Chemistry, appointed by the CISCE, New Delhi, a trained Evaluation Leader for International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, and an inspector for accreditation for the CISCE. She is the convenor of ISC examinations 2023. Some of the awards received by her include “Principal of the Year – India” by India Today, 'Pride of the Nation' award by Shri Om Birla, Speaker, Lok Sabha, ‘Jewel of Bengal’ award in the Education sector by IIHM and Devi Award by The New Indian Express. She is the recipient of runner-up national award for GENESIS 3.0 by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). Ms. Sapru is a passionate educator.
