The school was established in the year 1997. Mr. Das is the Founder Principal and also the managing Trustee of Subhashini Memorial Trust, the Parent Body of Contai Public School. He has been associated with ASISC, West Bengal Chapter since 2005 and became member of ASISC, National in the year 2006. He is closely associated with different NGOs and he is a member of Rotary International club for more than two and half decades. Presently he is the treasurer of ASISC, West Bengal Chapter.
